One of our local high schools, Grants Pass High School, has an amazing orchestra program. This coming school year, the GPHS Orchestra has been invited to an international music festival in New York City. They will get to perform at Carnegie Hall, as well as Central Park! What an amazing opportunity this is!
The GPHS Orchestra students have been working hard this summer at several fundraisers. They have been running a booth, selling popcorn and bottled water, at the Tuesday night Concerts in the Park at Riverside Park in Grants Pass, Oregon.
And, tomorrow – Saturday, July 25th – they will be having a CAR WASH fundraiser at the Washington Federal parking lot on 4th & G Street in Grants Pass, Oregon. This is near the Herb Shop, and the Saturday Grants Pass Growers Market. So, if you happen to be in that area tomorrow, between 8am-12pm noon – stop by, get your car washed, and be sure to give these hardworking kids a generous donation!
